CCIS Employer Hub
The CCIS’s Employer Hub (EH) is a non-profit job website that offers a variety of services and information to both employers and jobseekers in Southern Alberta.
The website works as a centralized hub to link employers with potential candidates (our clients) and clients with employment opportunities.
Partner and potential partner employers are contacted by Employment Services to provide information about the website, the benefits of registering, how to use the website and the registration procedure required.
Employers must fill out an online application and submit it for registration and approval. Once employers are approved, their account/profile is active and they can post jobs and/or search for qualified clients. “Recruitment Tools” provides employers with an online demonstration.
Clients need to be registered by Employment Counsellors. A “Job Seeker Profile” is created and clients are able to post resumes and search for jobs. Only registered clients are able to apply for jobs.
“Job Find” is a search engine for jobseekers to find employment opportunities online. Other services for clients includes “Skill Builder” which provides useful ‘Tips For Jobseekers’ to assist them in their job search process, A “Site Blog” allows assigned users to write articles and share it through the website. The blog is fully integrated with popular social media sites such as Facebook, Google+ and Twitter. “Locations” is an online user-friendly and informative locations map with CCIS contact information. “Contact Us” is an online contact form.
The Employer Hub offers a free advertising program to the Alberta business community to promote their businesses. Donations are accepted through an online donation process.
The Employer Hub is a “one-stop-shop” designed to readily connect partner employers and qualified CCIS applicant clients.
